Bhutan: Road Network

The project improved transport efficiency of Bhutan's trunk road network and expanded accessibility in rural areas, contributing both to expansion of economic opportunities and poverty reduction. It made provisions for the efficient and safe movement of freight and people over the national highway network, bringing better access to social services, markets, and other economic opportunities to rural populations.
