Regional: Supporting Innovation and Knowledge Exchange for Transport Projects in South Asia

This transaction technical assistance facility will provide project preparation and implementation support to transport projects in South Asia, as well as implement knowledge exchange and capacity building activities. It will also support the development and implementation of innovative features in at least four projects. Innovative features such as road and rail safety, engineering design, resettlement and rehabilitation, environmental issues, disaster risk management including climate change risks, gender mainstreaming, communication, asset management, and project finance, will be accomplished through knowledge exchange, collaborative learning, or South-South partnership.
