Bangladesh: South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation Road Connectivity Project

The project will support the Government of Bangladesh in upgrading sections of the Dhaka-Northwest corridor to four lanes. The project will also (i) improve two land ports at Benapole and Burimari, and (ii) strengthen the capacity of the road sector and the land port operations. It will not only boost the national economy but also facilitate subregional cooperation and increase trade.
