Bus Services Linking Bihar and Kathmandu Launched

The bus service connecting Bihar, India, to Nepal, was flagged off on 11 September 2018 by Mr. Nitish Kumar, Chief Minister, Bihar, India.

Two routes have started running from 13 September: (i) Bodh Gaya in Bihar to Kathmandu, Nepal, and (ii) Patna, Bihar to Kathmandu, via Janakpur, Nepal. The service aims to promote tourism between the two countries, and further strengthen India-Nepal relations.
