Nepal Customs Officers Undergo Training at NACEN

The National Academy of Customs, Excise and Narcotics (NACEN) held a capacity-building program for 35 Customs Officers from Nepal on 9-13 January 2017 in Faridabad, India.
The program discussed various Customs-related topics, including
- Customs valuation;
- World Trade Organization provisions;
- Customs reforms;
- Fraud and other Customs offenses, and their investigation;
- Use of risk management;
- Free trade agreements; and
- Rules of origin.
A field visit to the inland container depot in Tughlakabad, India was arranged to give participants a hands-on experience. The faculty expert and logistics support for the program were provided by NACEN.
