Air Travel Bubble between Bhutan and India

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Bhutan announced an Air Travel Bubble Arrangement with the Government of India on 5 October 2020 based on an agreement finalized on 18 September 2020. The arrangement makes flight operations possible between the two neighboring countries until normal operations of international flights resume.
Under the arrangement, Drukair is allowed to operate one flight each week to Indian cities of Delhi, Kolkata, Bagdogra, and Guwahati. Bhutan Airlines also plans to begin operations in the near future.
Travelers are subject to strict adherence to mandatory quarantine and other related health protocols to prevent the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic as dictated by the Government of Bhutan and the Government of India. Read the entry requirements.
