The SASEC Trade Facilitation and Transport Working Group Meeting, held in Kolkata, India on 5 March 2012, endorsed ADB proposals for the development of priority road corridors and assistance for trade facilitation. Officials from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, and Nepal discussed reducing non-tariff trade barriers, improving competitiveness, and deepening subregional economic cooperation.
