High-level Workshop on Multimodal Logistics Park Development in Karnataka, India

The Asian Development Bank presented study findings on developing a multimodal logistics park in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India at a high-level workshop on 28 August 2017.
The Meeting
- Presented main findings of the draft final pre-feasibility report on the planned multimodal logistics park in Bengalaru; and
- Discussed next steps on the planned multimodal logistics park development with India's Ministry of Road, Transport, and Highways, and the National Highways Authority of India.
The Workshop was attended by senior officials from Central and State Governments of India, as well as private sector representatives. Mr. Raghunath Vishwanth Rao Deshpande, Minister, Large and Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, Karnataka, India, inaugurated the workshop. Mr. Ronald Butiong, Director, Regional Cooperation and Operations Coordination, South Asia Department, Asian Development Bank, chaired the Workshop.
