Bangladesh: Chittagong Port Trade Facilitation Project
This technical assistance recommended physical improvements in the Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) area to facilitate container clearance processes, as well as measures to improve CPA’s capabilities in environmental management. It also aimed to improve the work practices of CPA and Customs by improving processes and procedures, including simplification of documentation. Furthermore, the technical assistance prepared a master plan for electronic data interchange at Chittagong Port.
