Bangladesh: Development of Transport Corridors for Trade Facilitation
This technical assistance will improve two project roads, contributing to infrastructure development along the identified Transport Corridor. The Bhatiapara-Benapole road link is a part of the proposed Asian Highway route AH-1. This improvement program will help meet increased demands for road transport, enhance overall sector management capacity by providing equipment necessary for control of vehicle overloading, and accelerate the process of economic development.
